cSAT

The Civil Service Exam is held every year by the Union Public Service Commission. The UPSC CSE exam is made up of three parts: the preliminary exam, the major exam, and a personality test. The preliminary test is made up of two parts: Paper I, which is about general studies, and Paper II, which is about civil service aptitude. Objective thinking is what the preliminary exam's question format is based on. CSAT is the only thing that counts for the Civil Service Preliminary Exam. In the past three years, a lot of candidates have failed preliminary tests, and it's not just because of their CSAT scores. RAJ IAS ACADEMY provides the best CSAT coaching in Chandigarh.

What is CSAT?

Before you may sit the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE), you have to pass the Civil Service Aptitude Test (CSAT).This Paper-II does not contribute to your final merit score, unlike the General Studies paper. Rather, it is supposed to assess your capacity for critical thinking and decision-making. The UPSC CSE Mains requires at least 33% (66 marks) on this test to be qualified. There are eighty questions, at 2.5 points apiece. You will lose 0.83 points, though, for every incorrect response. Using this scoring system, one should be strategic. The complexity of CSAT questions has gradually increased throughout the years. Many aspirants currently fail the UPSC CSE Prelims for this sole reason. Knowing a lot about General Studies can help you to start, but you have to work hard on your critical skills using CSAT.
