Explanation: The ISA's 'Towards 1000' strategy has four key aims to be achieved by 2030: mobilise USD 1000 billion of investments in solar energy solutions, deliver energy access to 1000 million people using clean energy, install 1000 GW of solar energy capacity, and mitigate global solar emissions by 1000 million tonnes of CO2 annually. The mobilisation of USD 1000 billion represents the financial cornerstone of this ambitious strategy. 

Explanation: SAKSHAM (Situational Awareness for Kinetic Soft and Hard Kill Assets Management) ensures comprehensive airspace security across the Tactical Battlefield Space (TBS), which is defined as airspace up to 3,000 metres (or 10,000 feet) above ground level. This system, developed by BEL, provides real-time detection and tracking of hostile drones within this defined space. 

Explanation: The Election Commission issued an order in June 2025 launching the Special Intensive Revision across the country, starting with Bihar. July 1, 2025, was designated as the qualifying date for inclusion in the electoral rolls. This date serves as the reference point for determining voter eligibility based on age and other criteria during the revision process. 

Explanation: The Surrogacy (Regulation) Act, 2021, mandates that a surrogate mother must be between 25-35 years of age on the date of implantation. Additionally, she must be a married woman with at least one child of her own, should not provide her own gametes, and cannot act as a surrogate mother more than once. 

Explanation: Section 21 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950, specifically empowers the ECI to prepare and revise electoral rolls for each constituency. While summary revisions typically occur before general or by-elections, this provision also allows the Commission to carry out special revisions at any time deemed necessary, as was done with the Special Intensive Revision in Bihar starting July 2025.
